These posters are promotional material developed for Master’s candidates at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in preparation for the students to submit their films for festivals all over the world.
Devi
Set in New Delhi, a closeted lesbian risks family and social boundaries as she pursues her household maid, Devi.
Devi is a 12-minute narrative that follows Tara, a feisty teenager dealing with the realities of being a lesbian in contemporary India. When is she caught pursuing her attraction towards childhood maid, she must suddenly define who she really is amidst severely classist and homophobic society.
